One of our favourite group activities in the Hs community...ice skating. Armed with beanies and gloves (and after many, many blisters, ski socks are a must) we descend on Erina ice rink. All ages and sizes of kids and adults skate around, some daredevils, some clutching white knuckled to the edge, some leg in air Disney on ice style, some playing tip. Then the hockey game starts and it's ON!!! Funnily enough, the most competitive of them all seems to be the instructor...they emerge 2.5 hours later full of cold air and adrenaline, ready for a sugar hit!
