The grand finale of Farmschool this term was 'earth', and it was awesome! By now the farm has been adopted into the hearts of the many children (big and little) who have been learning and playing here, so it was time to pay it back...so as we learnt about no dug garden beds we built a beautiful new one...
Our art project was creating some totally fabulous scarecrows which now preside over the freedom farm garden...
...and of course the kids got to take a bit of the farm home with them in the shape of a lovely little terrarium/worm farm.
Thanks for a great term of learning and laughing - we are looking forward to next terms adventures already!
