While we stayed in Fernie we enjoyed lots of delectable delights cooked up by our friend Louie.
Like this dish of perogies and sausage!
Perogies are parcels of potato and various other fillings. They originated in the Ukraine and have become a Canadian staple. They are usually served with sour cream, fried onion and sauerkraut. And are a stodgy food after a long day at the snow hill.
Double mini cheeseburger with Caesar salad at Kelseys.
One word; delicious!
This burger though, takes the cake.
Yummmmy, cake.....;) We had an Aussie burger night with all our Aussie friends in town.
Troppo bacon with good Aussie beetroot fair dinkum mate!
ALBERTA BEEF!!!!!! The province of Alberta is renowned for its beef and nothing makes me more happy than a big hunk of COW!
The stay in Fernie wouldn't be the same without the food and and therefore wouldn't be the same without Louie.
She worked as the cook in tree planting camps and learned how to cook for lots of people.
We were lucky to have her as our personal chef!!!
