We are off on our great North American adventure in 12 days!!
In order to manage the excitement I thought I might blog about the exhibition we went to which featured a history of American painting. It fit in well with our study of all things America...we have learnt all about the history of this great nation and the paintings illustrated many of these events. It was also extremely fun to point to a painting and say 'we are going there!'
The event started with an Americsn voice coach telling stories and getting rubbed by Richard Glover...
Then it was time to eat at the pop up diner...buffalo wings and fries y'all!
And finally the Green Mohair Suits filled the cavernous gallery with their twang.
A great night out. We are ready to rock the real thing now.
